About Me

Everyone deserves access to dental care.
I am a PhD Candidate working jointly in the Faculty of Education (DISE) and the Faculty of Dentistry (Population Health Axis) at McGill University. My PhD research seeks to gain insight into if and how professors, teachers, and clinicians incorporate social responsibility into their teaching approaches in the Faculties of Dentistry and Education, and the School of Social Work at McGill University. We aim to further understand the explicit and implicit influence that teachers can have on their students and trainees, later addressing access to dental care. My aim is to have an impact on access to dental care through a better understanding of social responsibility, social justice, and public health.
I am also interested in policy work. Currently, I am writing and editing a Gendered and Sexual Violence policy for the Post-Graduate Students’ Society at McGill.
In addition to teaching for over three years, I am also a savvy social media coordinator and marketing consultant for three separate organizations. Moreover, my leadership and team working skills are also highlighted in my time spent as VP Communications and President of the McGill Dentistry Graduate Students’ Society, as the coordinator of the Dentistry Graduate Students’ Forum, as well as the Vice-Chair and now Chair of the McGill Dentistry Annual Research Day.
I spend the rest of my time improving my Spanish, dancing flamenco, and enjoying the culinary arts.
I look forward to working with you!
